Emergency Unfill...womp womp...

I was SO excited yesterday to get a fill.  I've been sooo stinkin hungry the last few weeks.

Sadly, that 1.4 CC fill was way too much.  By 7pm, I couldn't swallow my own saliva and ended up at the hospital for an emergency unfill.  The on-call bariatric surgeon took 2 CC's out, so now I'm more hungry than ever!

I'll try another fill next thursday.

    Oh no! Sorry it got that rough for you! The last big fill I had made me feel too tight too. I'm taking my fills pretty slowly these days, and I think it helps.

    I've never felt that before, but it sounds so scary!! I'm sorry you had to get an unfill though :(

    I was afraid of this! Sorry it didn't work out. Just keep at it, being too tight is dangerous! You will find the zone!

    I Had The Green Zone Before My PA Stopped Doing Fills Because She Got Pregnant :( I Miss Her....And I want To Tell My Surgeon He Sucks At Adjustments!! Lol

WLS Bullying

Have any of you noticed how much bullying exists among us in the WLS community?  I'm not necessarily referring to those of us in blogland--in fact, I've never felt bullied or anything other than the most support here in my little blog world.  But in other parts of the WLS community I've experienced a lot of "my surgery is better than yours" comments and a lot of size comparison.  It's something that I first experienced when I tried a local WLS meetup.  I was the only person with a lapband at the group and it was then that I decided I would never go back. Now that I'm revised, I still disagree with it.  I would NEVER put someone down because they made a different decision than me.  Even with all my trouble with the band, I would never tell someone that they were making the wrong choice.  Your body, your choice. Shake Shake Shake, Shake your...... blender ball!

  I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Donna for introducing me to MyBariatricPantry.com !!!!  They sell protein powder by the tub or in samples (as well as other products).  I chose to go with 35 different samples. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know I've always been the "I hate protein powder" type of girl. Not anymore. So I wanted to share that with you. So far I have tried: Syntrax Nectar Roadside Lemonade Syntrax Nectar Chocolate Truffle Syntrax Nectar Caribbean Cooler Matrix Mint Cookie  (mmmmmmmmm) The Matrix Mint Cookie seriously tasted like a mint chocolate chip milkshake (but melty).  I bet if I put it in a blender with some ice, it would be as good as a milkshake. I will be buying that one in the huge tub!  All have been great so far though! Also, every single morning it seems like I see a new lower number! Eff yes!
