DC Weekend

Over the weekend, Mr.  Banker and I went to DC.  It was a nice trip.  I want to share a couple of photos with you all, but I know that Mr. Banker prefers that his picture not be on my blog, so I am just sharing a couple of me.

Just a cool photo that was taken in the hotel.  I loved how it turned out.

Things aren't perfect between us, but I love him more than words are capable of describing.  Things have been mostly good lately, and he's tried so much harder.  I'm glad to have him in my life.

He is so supportive of my weight loss journey and that means the world.  In my 2.25 years since my initial surgery, I haven't met another man as supportive of my decision to make myself better.  We spent a good hour in the car Sunday talking about it and he just never says the wrong thing when it comes to that.  He doesn't exactly have a way with words, so I know he's genuine about this.

    You look so good in these! And I'm glad things are going well with Mr. Banker. No relationship is perfect...as long as the smiles outnumber the tears, you're doing ok.

Ten Things Thursday

1. I forgot to weigh in this morning, but my other weigh ins this week tell me the number on the scale really had not moved since last week. 2.  Yesterday my plans were kind of up in the air.  First, my mom talked about coming to visit.  Then Mr. Banker asked to come over.  Then a friend, Ashley, asked me to go to dinner.  My mom canceled, so I told Mr. Banker that Ashley had asked me to dinner, so he told me to go out with her.  I guess he wasn't expecting I would be at the restaurant for 4 hours because apparently he was planning to come over after my dinner. 3.  One of my favorite things about Lap Band is that I can usually go out to dinner for about $4 now.  If you don't have a card from your WLS that states you can eat from the kid's menu, you're missing out! 4.  I need a fill.  I'm hungry all the time right now.  I tried to move my appointment up, but they didn't have any openings.  I'm so thankful my PA will be back next month!  It's so much

Shake Shake Shake, Shake your...... blender ball!

  I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Donna for introducing me to MyBariatricPantry.com !!!!  They sell protein powder by the tub or in samples (as well as other products).  I chose to go with 35 different samples. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know I've always been the "I hate protein powder" type of girl. Not anymore. So I wanted to share that with you. So far I have tried: Syntrax Nectar Roadside Lemonade Syntrax Nectar Chocolate Truffle Syntrax Nectar Caribbean Cooler Matrix Mint Cookie  (mmmmmmmmm) The Matrix Mint Cookie seriously tasted like a mint chocolate chip milkshake (but melty).  I bet if I put it in a blender with some ice, it would be as good as a milkshake. I will be buying that one in the huge tub!  All have been great so far though! Also, every single morning it seems like I see a new lower number! Eff yes!
